Rev. Alan brown

Pastor


Alan was called to PDBC in October, 2018 as Family Discipleship Pastor to lead the discipleship ministry for all ages. In August, 2020, the church called him as full-time Pastor.

After a successful 25 year career in retail, Alan surrendered to God's call to ministry and missions in 1997 as a member of Western Hills Baptist Church of Shreveport. He and wife Donna spent 5 years in local church ministry (Eastwood Baptist, Haughton) and 12 years as missionaries to Mexico with the International Mission Board, Southern Baptist Convention. Alan earned B.A. and M.Div. degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Alan has served as a trainer for the discipleship ministry Live Life on Mission since it's founding in 2015.

Married since 1977, Alan and Donna have two children and three grandchildren. 

Blade Foster

Student Minister


Blade and wife Kalynn joined the PDBC team in the summer of 2024. Originally from the Shreveport-Bossier area, the Fosters are glad to move back to Louisiana to serve the students in the Plain Dealing area. Blade and Kalynn just welcomed their first child to the family, a son, Griffin. 

NORMA ANDERSON

Worship Leader


Norma came to PDBC in 2011; Retired Elementary Principal; Currently, Adjunct Clinical Educator at LSU-Shreveport. Norma is married to David and they have one son. She loves to golf, fish, and ride in side by sides.

DOnna degraw

Ministry Assistant


Donna moved to Bossier Parish in 2015. She has been a member of PDBC since 2018, and teaches Pre-k Sunday school with her husband. She retired from Bossier Parish School Board in May 2025, having served 10 years in Bossier Parish and 10 years in Rapides Parish. Donna is married to Franklin. They have been married since September 1989. They have two sons and a daughter in love.
