Compassion Ministries   We conduct Compassion Ministries that build bridges for Gospel Conversations.

We partner with the local schools to invest in food challenged families.  These opportunities include providing schools uniforms, Christmas backpacks and Summer Food supplements.

We partner with the local nursing home to invest in clients. These opportunities include birthday celebrations, hair and nail grooming, and holidays events.

We partner with other local churches to invest in homebound adults.  These opportunities include taking soup to different homebound, holiday opportunities, and compassion help.

Handy Man Ministry gives our men the opportunity to help struggling senior adults with simple, but much needed minor home repairs.  Changing a light bulb, fixing a running commode, and fixing a leak is very important to those who cannot get around.

We participate with the local ministerial alliance to collect money every thanksgiving to help with community crises.  Helping with funeral costs, buying gasoline and food for a transient, or helping someone start over after a fire destroys their home are just some of the ways we can partner together.

We support a wide range of compassion type ministries within the region including the Care Pregnancy Center of Shreveport, the HUB Urban Ministries of Shreveport, Rolling Hills Thrift Store in Bossier City,

Whether it is collecting items for the crisis pregnancy ministry, the HUB Urban ministry or canned food for the Louisiana Baptist Children’s home, we want to be the hands, feet and mouthpiece of Jesus.

We participate in collecting funds for our Southern Baptist Causes:  Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, Georgia Barnett State Missions Offering, and the Louisiana Baptist Children’s home offering.

Live Life On Mission is a ministry that exists through our lead pastor.  He and ministry partner, Alan Brown, mobilize churches all over North Louisiana to use compassion ministry efforts to make disciples who make disciples and start new churches.  Our church supports this effort with prayer and giving participation.  www.livelifeonmisson.com

Meadowview Missions Incubator is a ministry of the Northwest Louisiana Baptist Association.  This building houses multiple mission congregations as they grow to self -supportive status. Our financial support helps to offset the cost of building operations while these fledgling congregations gain momentum to go out on their own.

Plain Dealing is supporting a new church plant in Loveland, Colorado.  The Well is a new church plant pastored by Dr. Billy Stevens.  Billy, Stephanie and kids are currently planting this new work in a region of Colorado that has a high suicide and domestic abuse rate.  Their strategy is to use compassion ministry as a bridge to start Gospel Conversations.  www.thewellloveleand.com

New works are being targeted in Eastern Africa in several Muslim Countries including Tanzania, The Congo, Kenya, Sudan, Egypt, Northern Uganda Refugee Camps, Ethiopia, and South Sudan as well as a church planting effort in the "Heart of Darkness" in Mexico.
