Nursery

Plain Dealing Baptist provides a safe, warm environment for birth – 2 year-olds.  Both paid and volunteer staff are present to care and teach these little ones.  Parents must follow the check in/out procedures to ensure a safe experience for everyone.  Nursery is available during the Sunday School hour, Morning Worship hour, and Sunday evening adult discipleship hour. 


Preschool

Preschoolers have their own Sunday School class at the 10 a.m. hour as well as Extended Session during Sunday Morning Worship. They learn Bible stories, play games, do crafts, and enjoy snacks. Our little ones can participate in Wednesday night activities like TeamKid (during the school year) and Worship Kidstyle! (summers) as well as Vacation Bible School and other age-related activities. 

 

Children

Our first -fifth graders are lead by loving, caring teachers who share God’s Word with them at their pace.  Our children have a variety of opportunities to engage in spiritual development through Sunday School classes, Children’s Church, Team Kid, Vacation Bible School, Mission Education, and other age-related activities.  Our buildings are locked to ensure that all our children are safe and cared for.  

Students

Plain Dealing Baptist Student Ministry provides biblical teaching and fellowship activities for our 6th – 12 grade students.  Students participate in Sunday School, Wednesday Night discipleship , Vacation Bible School, compassion and mission projects, student conferences,  and summer camp.  A variety of fund raising opportunities occur during the year to help with camp expenses.  Also, movie nights, skate nights, and concerts are a part of their yearly calendar of activities. 


Adults

There are a variety of ways that adults can participate in church life and serve.  Adult Sunday School classes, Music Ministry, along with Compassion Ministries, Homebound/Nursing Home Ministries, Helping Hands ministry, Missions projects, Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief training, and ADS (Always Doing Something) activities and fellowships.
